Bringing Healthcare Concepts to Life

Over the past few months, Experience Haus has had the privilege of facilitating several dynamic two-day workshops at The University of Edinburgh. These workshops have been attended by an incredible group of medical practitioners who are pioneering early stage concepts that have the potential to revolutionise the medical and healthcare landscape.

It has been an experience filled with innovation, collaboration and a shared commitment to creating a positive impact in the world of healthcare, medicine and wellbeing. The workshops were hosted by the iTPA Translational Community and Edinburgh Innovations, a research community dedicated to bridging the gap between scientific breakthroughs and practical application in the real world.

Our goal over the two days was to empower scientists and researchers to turn their research into tangible solutions that can transform lives. We engaged in challenging, yet thought-provoking discussions, dicing deep into the core ideas that drive these early-stage concepts.

Practical exercises played a crucial role in the workshop, allowing participants to apply their knowledge and skills in a hands-on manner. We delved into UI visualisations and prototyping techniques, providing a solid foundation for the next steps in the development.

We would like to express sincere thanks to all the participants (and organisers Max Reiter, Amelia Hodgson, Andrew McBride and Lysimachos Zografos) who contributed their expertise, insights and enthusiasm. Their commitment to pushing the boundaries of medical innovation is commendable, and we are honoured to have been part of this transformative journey. We are looking forward to working with the next group of visionary individuals in the near future, and the momentum from this workshop has ignited a sense of excitement and anticipation for what lies ahead.
