The course is suitable for anyone interested in artificial intelligence (AI) and design, including UX/Product designers, user researchers, service designers, consultants, product managers, and venture builders. It is useful to have a foundational knowledge of design thinking and the design process before you begin the course.
We do try and complete all course material during the day, however. due to the nature of the course (you will be working on a real-life design challenge set by a local startup) you may have to do a few hours of work in the evening after class.
Yes, you will work on a real-life artificial intelligence (AI) challenge from a startup. This provides invaluable practical experience, allowing you to apply what you’ve learned in a real-world context.
We offer three payment options for all of our courses. You can pay in full and save 10% off the regular price, or you can spread the cost by paying in 3 instalments taken during the course.
If you have taken any courses with us before, you will save 20% off the regular price.
While some aspects of AI involve coding, this course focuses on AI design thinking, ethics, prototyping, and implementation. Basic coding knowledge can be beneficial but is not required for this course.
This course does not focus on software development. Instead, it emphasizes AI design, service design, user research, and ethical considerations. However, you will learn to use various tools and platforms essential for AI prototyping and implementation.
You don’t need an existing portfolio to enrol. By the end of the course, you will have a portfolio-ready project showcasing your work on the startup challenge, demonstrating your skills in AI and design thinking.
We use a range of industry-standard tools, including Figma for prototyping, along with data visualisation and project management tools. Specific software details will be provided upon enrollment.
There isn’t one! To secure your space on a course all you have to do is book via our website or by contacting enrol@experiencehaus.com and telling us which programme you’d like to do. For those doing our larger courses, you’ll then get the chance to speak with one of our instructors and talk through your objectives, previous experience and how we might best support you during your time with us.
Part-time courses are a fantastic way of getting the ball rolling and getting up-to-speed quickly, conveniently and cost-effectively, but do not contain enough projects, work experience or portfolio development for you to start applying for roles immediately post-graduation. You will have to do this afterwards (with our support of course).
Courses can be taken with standard Windows PC or Apple hardware. The only programs that you will almost definitely need to use at some stage are Figma (the main design program we teach), Figjam and Zoom. All of which can be run through your internet browser with no need to download their desktop applications unless you want to work offline. Many other programs and software platforms will be discussed throughout the course.
Purchases are non-refundable, except at the discretion of Experience Haus Ltd.
