Lateef Arowolo

Product designer at Deloitte

The course was brilliant! The instructors were thorough and really took time to help me understand agile processes. Moreover the course helped me fill some holes in my knowledge, which has helped significantly in my current role.

Bridget O'Hare

Senior Product Manager

Everyone was genuinely friendly and open to help answer any questions. The info session I attended gave me a really good understanding of the course and I was hooked since then.

Himanshu Gupta

Innovation Consultant, Freelance Product Design, UX/UI

The course structure promising to help learn about end to end product lifecycle and we were then able to put the theory into practice through a live project.

Anand Bhimjiyani

Product Manager

Experience Haus offers an excellent experience of ‘learn by doing’ (which for me was a lot more powerful than online learning). The sessions were valuable, fun and practical. Highly recommend this type of immersive experience for discovering/progressing in your career.

Yulee Foster

Product Designer at Accurx

Without sounding too cheesy, I’ve been living my dream life since completing the course! Soon after, I was able to start freelancing – although, I freelanced for one person and they hired me – and I was there for two years, before moving into my current role.

FAQs

Have more questions? We have the answers.

A Product Manager defines the scope of a project and identifies the tasks and deadlines for each team. They are responsible for creating the strategy for a project and bring the team from the initial planning phase up to the final product release.

Like all new careers you want to step into, it is essential you do some reading around the subject – there is no shortage of books or articles out there so spend some time looking around. A Product Manager also has to be a very good listener, so take some time to practice your listening skills with friends, family, co-workers etc. Being able to prioritise various tasks will be an essential skill to have as a Product Manager so have a look at tasks you’re currently working on and have a go at prioritising specific ones. Having UX experience is a necessity as you will need to keep the end user in mind throughout the design and creation process of a new product. Have a portfolio to hand that shows you have the required UX skills. Our Product Strategy & Management course will prepare you for this – get in touch today to discuss this further!

No, our courses are open to anyone. Whilst some of our students have studied or worked in design-related fields, many have very little experience (if any). We’ve had everyone from very senior industrial and digital designers with over 10 years’ experience to paramedics, lawyers, police and coffee shop baristas!

This can change depending on the stage of the course but we say on average there will be 6-8 hours of individual homework each week.

Yes, during the course you will be assigned to an actual client to work on a real project and at the end you will be presenting this work to your client.

We offer three payment options for all of our courses. You can pay in full and save 10% off the regular price or you can spread the cost by paying in 3 instalments taken during the course.

If you have taken any courses with us before, you will save 20% off the regular price.

There isn’t one! To secure your space on a course all you have to do is book via our website or by contacting enrol@experiencehaus.com and telling us which programme you’d like to do. For those doing our larger courses, you’ll then get the chance to speak with one of our instructors and talk through your objectives, previous experience and how we might best support you during your time with us.

Courses can be taken with standard Windows PC or Apple hardware. The only programs that you will almost definitely need to use at some stage are Figjam, Mural and/or Miro (for capturing ideas, thoughts, and notes. these can be run through your internet browser with no need to download their desktop applications unless you want to work offline. Many other programs may be discussed throughout our courses, but none are essential. You will also need to use Google Slides, Keynote or PowerPoint to work on your final presentation.

Purchases are non-refundable, except at the discretion of Experience Haus Ltd. No – the briefs are selected to help you apply your learnings in the best way and create a great portfolio piece. We cannot change the brief that has been selected for you as we want this to be as real life as possible, where you don’t always choose what you work on and would need to deliver the project regardless of personal preference.
