Inspiring the Next Generation of Creatives at UK Creative Festival

Last month, the Experience Haus team traveled to Margate for the UK Creative Festival and Careers Fair 2023. Across the two days there was a series of workshops, talks and panel discussions designed to connect aspiring young creatives with the best of the UK creative industry.

There were lots of inspiring talks to attend. Tracey Emin gave a powerful account about her life and career, Henry Holland was interviewed about his journey from fashion to ceramist, and for the first time in the UK, Saatchi & Saatchi brought their iconic New Creators’ Showcase to the UK Creative Festival. This allows up-and-coming creators a chance to showcase their work to a global audience, as well as exhibiting work to celebrate and spotlight the best emerging creativity, storytelling and visual innovation.

On the Thursday  our Creative Director & Founder Amit Patel formed part of a panel discussing the importance of leadership in creativity. Whilst there have been many conversations in the last ten years about diversity in leadership roles across every industry, you will still find the classic stereotypes within these roles. Amit was joined by directors from the Helen Hamlyn Design Centre and Lego to discuss the different values that can help personal and professional evolvement.
