Upgrade Your Skills in UI Design with a Course Taught by Industry Experts

With the advancement of digital technologies, working in a fast-paced environment like UI design has never been so popular. Whether it’s designing really strong mobile apps or incorporating AI into your company, the demand for UI designers has never been higher. So how do you make sure you stand out from the crowd?

In this ever-evolving industry, staying ahead of the curve and continuously improving your skills and knowledge is essential for success. Whether you’re an experienced UI designer, or starting out on your journey, investing in your professional development will be the key to your own career growth and success.

Deep Dive into UI

User Interface design (or UI) is the industrial field of human-computer interaction. A user interface is where people interact with devices such as mobiles, tablets or computers. The better the UI is, the more effective the control and operations gets from the person’s perspective. The ultimate goal for UI is to make this interaction easy and user-friendly, and so leading to maximum usability.

Despite user experience (UX) and UI being closely interlinked, if you want to become a senior UI designer it’s important to do this deep dive into the UI side of the process in order to create the best possible user interfaces. On our 8-week part-time UI Design with Figma course, we will start from scratch with User Interface and Visual Design concepts, followed by intense Figma practices, including launch-spec prototyping. Everything covered in the course comes together to play an important role in creating successful user interface design outputs.

Work on Advanced Figma Practices

To show how quickly the design industry can shift, only a few years ago were companies using Sketch to create their designs. Now, since the introduction of Figma, it is very rare to come across a company that still uses Sketch. This proves how important it is to stay on top of emerging tools and trends in order to remain competitive within the industry.

Our UI Design with Figma course is not a beginner course, but more geared to existing designers looking to really advance their Figma skills. During the 8 weeks students cover advanced features and tips, such as: tools, design systems, taxonomy, styles, auto-layout, constraints, variants, flows, advanced components, prototyping, and Figma community. They will also get the opportunity to work on a client project as part of a group, as well as working on their own individual projects to ensure they have truly mastered the software.

Learn from Experts in the Field

Industry experts bring in-depth insights and practical knowledge that can greatly benefit your design journey. Their wealth of experience goes beyond what is typically covered in design courses, allowing them to share valuable perspectives on current trends, technologies, and effective design strategies. All of our instructors are working in their respective fields so students gain a deeper understanding of how the design principles they are learning are applied in real-world situations.

As you progress in your career, our instructors will still be on hand to help with anything you need, from career guidance to their own recommendations. Learning from someone who has been in your same position can accelerate your own professional growth and provide valuable insights.

Continuous learning and upgrading your skills is essential for career success. By taking design courses and learning from experts in the field, you will remain ahead of the curve and improve your chances of employability. At Experience Haus, we are here not only to help you land your first design role, but help you build a successful design career.
