Introducing The Blueprint: Our AI-first service design course for Financial Services
Most AI training programmes teach you what’s possible. Then you go back to your desk and nothing changes.
That’s not a dig at the programmes. It’s just the reality of what happens when you learn something in isolation from the actual work you need to do. You come back with ideas and nowhere to put them.
The Blueprint is built differently. And today, we’re opening the doors to the latest course from Experience Haus.
The Problem With How We’ve Been Teaching AI
If you work in financial services, you’ve probably sat through at least one AI session in the past two years. Maybe it was a half-day workshop on prompt engineering. Maybe it was an internal webinar on what large language models actually do. Maybe it was a vendor-led demo dressed up as capability building.
And to be fair, some of that has been useful. But it hasn’t been enough.
Because the real challenge isn’t understanding what AI can do. It’s knowing how to design services where AI is genuinely part of the fabric. Where agents have defined roles, where data architecture is intentional, where guardrails are built in from the start rather than bolted on after a compliance review.
Most professionals in financial services know that transformation is coming. Very few have the method to actually lead it.
What The Blueprint Actually Is
The Blueprint is a 12-week online programme in AI-first service design, built specifically for financial services professionals. It combines service design, product thinking, data literacy and responsible AI into one applied experience.
It runs twice a week, Monday and Wednesday evenings, 6:00 to 8:00pm London time. The first cohort starts 21st September 2026. There’s a second cohort in January 2027 if September doesn’t work for you.
But here’s the thing that actually makes it different.
On day one, you and your small team receives a live brief from an early-stage startup. We source that brief before the cohort begins. Every method you learn in session, whether that’s journey mapping, AI agent design, data architecture, guardrails or prototyping, gets applied to that brief the same week. By the time you get to the final presentation, you haven’t just learned a process. You’ve used it to build something real, tested it with real users, and defended it in front of the client who wrote the brief.
You leave with something built, not just something learned.
Who This Is For
The Blueprint is for mid-career professionals in financial services who want to lead AI-driven change, not just navigate it. Strategy, transformation, product, operations, design teams. If you’re the person in the room who knows something needs to change but can’t always articulate what or how, this is for you.
It’s not for people looking for a certificate to add to a LinkedIn profile. It’s for people who want to walk back into their organisation with a method they can actually use.
We keep the cohort capped at 12 people. That’s a deliberate design decision. Small cohorts mean you get real time with instructors, not just access to slide decks. You get to learn from what every other team is building. You’re not a number.
We work in teams of three to four throughout the programme. Intentionally. AI-first service redesign is not a solo discipline. The dynamics you navigate inside the cohort are the same ones you’ll face when you take this back into your organisation.
How We Teach at Experience Haus
The programme is built around our Five I’s Framework: Intent, Intelligence, Integrity, Interface, and Interaction. These five dimensions structure everything you learn and everything you build across the twelve weeks. They give you a shared vocabulary and, more importantly, a way to make decisions at every layer of a service.
Every session is taught by practitioners who actually do this work. Our instructors have worked inside and alongside financial services organisations. They bring live experience of AI transformation, service design, product strategy and responsible AI into every session. Guest specialists join throughout, covering AI product design, regulatory compliance, data architecture and venture.
This is not a lecture series. Every session connects directly to a real brief. You leave every week with something built, not something noted down.
What Happens Across 12 Weeks
The programme covers everything from user research and problem definition, through AI-first design, data and guardrails, product proposition, prototyping and testing, to iteration, validation and final pitch. Two dedicated workshop sessions are built in for peer and instructor review and consolidation before the final presentations.
Week 12 is the pitch. Each team presents the full proposition directly to the startup founder and a guest panel. Problem framing, service design, AI architecture, data layer, prototype and business case. The brief has been real from day one. The pitch is too.
After the programme, you join the Experience Haus alumni network and get access to office hours, a peer community, and access to EH insights and events.
The Investment
The programme is £2,950 (inc. VAT). You can pay in full or spread it across instalments. If your company is sponsoring your place, we can arrange invoicing directly.
For 22 live sessions, two workshop days, real client work, a capped cohort and instructors with genuine financial services experience, we’ve priced this to be accessible to the individuals who need it most. Not just the organisations with big L&D budgets.
This Is the Right Time
Financial services is changing faster than most organisations can respond to. The ones that get ahead won’t be the ones that bolt AI onto legacy workflows. They’ll be the ones that start from scratch and redesign with AI built in.
The Blueprint is for the people doing that work.
If you’re ready to move from understanding AI to actually designing with it, we’d love to have you in the cohort.
The Blueprint begins 21st September 2026. Places are capped at 12.
